Yes!!! Finally...

...on Thursday evening after a long search on the web, I found something and after a few mails on Friday, we booked for two weeks at the Atlantic Ocean in the neighborhood of Bordeaux, France. We have spent often our holiday in France, but I never stayed for a vacation on the west side of France... so let me know if you ever been there...

I also had a great Saterday. Claudia, Pina and I decided to go for a scrap-shop-tour. On the programme Doorn, Ede, Heesch... We bought too much stuff, we laughed a lot and we had a great diner at a Mexican restaurant... Claudia and Pina thanks a lot for this crazy and lovely day.

I will leave you with something I made a month ago. Love this picture of Sid, (summer 2006) no cardstock this time, but a piece of leather and grommets are really cool...ohh yes and of course a lot of Fancy Pants chipboard...

Thanks for dropping by...

a little bit too late...

I know. Yesterday I finished my take on the Dutch Dare #18... "A bow long bent at last waxes weak." It's not only work, sometimes you need a little break...RELAX...
Check for all beautiful entries our Dutch Dare blog here.

I used pics of our vacation at the Maldives 1995, after a tour through Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful place to be...and the weather is so much better then here at the moment... I love summer it's my favourite season of the year...
We decided to stay at home this summer, wrong decision!!! I surfed three days on the web, looking for a short break. Destination: a place in the sun, but it's all full booked...so my mood has reached the bottom at this moment...and my moyo for scrapping has left the building...HELP!!!

Simone, you left a comment on my blog, but I can't go to your weblog...
You have to change something in your profile, that you will share your blog with us...if you don't know how, leave a comment with the name of your blog...I'm very curious!!!

My first...

...6" by 12" LO and I'm sure, it will not my last.

The MLS challenge of june was to make a 6" by 12" LO, with Daisy D paper, chipboard flower and a die cut edge. I also used a beautiful ghost shape butterfly of HS and the big 4 is chipboard of MM. I did not use the original one, I made a copy...I paint them first red, then crackle medium and finally white. I love this technique, so I'm curious of the new product by Rangers, they come up with one step crackle paint... For all the other entries check the MLS gallery.

Pics taken on his birthday.
He finds himself a big guy, now he's 4...
Singing 4 times a song...
Eating 4 tomatoes...
Of course he wants 4 candies...
He believes in magical 4...

...and I love my boy @ 4...

A lovely day...

Yesterday, my mom, her sisters and my grandmother came by for a card-making-afternoon. For the first time they organised a sisters-day. Most of them never heard of scrapbooking, so it was a big challenge for me...but no worries, they are all creative and even my "oma" wow...she's almost 89 years, made her cards without any help. She has a twinkle in her eyes, I think she really enjoyed this day with her daughters. So here are some pics. All sisters, together with my grandma...which one do you think is my mom?

...busy, busy, busy...my grandma
...coffee break...
my youngest aunt,
...she's 6 months younger then me...funny he......their beautiful cards...
love them all

It was a lovely day...

It was time to change my blog and my banner...

I saw the little elephant on the site of Isa Form. Check it out for inspiration. Cool motifs, beautiful stuff...I like to hear what you think of her site...
